ROCKVILLE, MD—Monument Bank is taking 24,000 square feet at 2101 Gaither Rd. and engineering and planning company Dewberry has inked a lease for 5,800 square feet at the building, called Park Plaza I, which is owned by Carr Properties.
Monument Bank is relocating to the new location later this year. Carr Properties recently invested in an renovation of the property, which broker CBRE attributes to the rapid lease-up the building has seen this year. Some 58,000 square feet of deals were inked and there are several pending deals as well, according to CBRE First Vice President Ben Powell.
"The trend in today's market environment is for tenants to move up in quality and Carr has capitalized on that. Their commitment to providing the finishes and amenities that tenants want most has resulted in tremendous leasing success in a short period of time," he says in a prepared statement.
