LAS VEGAS—ADISA, the nation's leading trade association serving the alternative investment and securities industry, (formerly known as REISA), has named the winners of its 2014 ACE, Distinguished Service and President's award.

The ACE Award, the highest honor bestowed on an ADISA member by the association, was presented to Mike Bendix, co-founder of DFPG Investments Inc. This award is given to an individual or organization that has reached a pinnacle in their career and has brought credit to themselves and ADISA through distinguished accomplishments.

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to individuals and companies who have provided exceptional service to ADISA, the alternative investments industry and the overall community. The 2014 Distinguished Service Award was presented to John Grady, president of National Fund Advisors LLC, and Bryan Mick, president of Mick & Associates P.C., LLO.

The 2014 President's Award was presented to Griffin Capital Corporation. The award is presented to an individual or organization that has made outstanding contributions in their chosen field, in service in local, state or national affairs, or in support of the advancement and continued excellence of ADISA.

“We are pleased to present these awards to honor John, Bryan, Mike and the outstanding professionals at Griffin Capital Corporation,” said ADISA Executive Director/CEO, John Harrison. “They all exhibit exceptional commitment to excellence, service to the industry and adhere to the highest ethical standards and quality performance. The awards were announced during the kick-off of ADISA's 2014 Annual Conference and Trade Show, bringing together nearly 1,000 of the industry's leading professionals for education, networking and the exchange of ideas.

The Alternative and Direct Investment Securities Association is a national trade association serving alternative investment and securities industry professionals who are active in offering, managing and distributing private and public direct investments. ADISA connects members directly to key industry experts through intimate forums and leading edge conferences and trade shows providing timely trends and education. The association was founded in 2003 and has more than 2,000 members who are key decision makers that represent more than 30,000 professionals throughout the nation.
