Thetechnology enables guests to receive their news digitally and freeof charge, giving them access to more than 3,000 publications, andthe capability to connect through any device includingsmartphones, laptops and tablets.

The implementation of PressReader aligns with PHG's increasedconcentration on sustainability, enabling guests to go paperlessand, instead, receive their news on their personal devices. Thiscomplimentary amenity will give guests instant access to thousandsof local, regional and international full-content newspapers andmagazines in 60 languages.

Guests are able to access PressReader during their stay byconnecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi and going topressreader.com or by downloading the PressReader app for free totheir tablet or smartphone. Guests may then search publications ordownload content to enjoy when traveling off-property. Upondeparting the resort, they may choose to subscribe to PressReaderfor their own personal use.

As GlobeSt.com reported in June, PHG and R.D. OlsonDevelopment broke ground on Paséa Hotel &Spa, an eight-story, 250-room luxuryhotel to be integrated with the 191,000-square-footPacific City retail andentertainment center also under development hereby DJM Capital Partners. The parties involveddeclined to reveal to GlobeSt.com the total estimated constructioncosts for the project.
