HACKENSACK, NJ—Alfred Sanzari Enterprises ishelping to make the holidays brighter for community members in needwith its first annual “Giving Thanks Food Drive.” The real estatedevelopment firm is working in conjunction with The Churchon the Green, located at 42 Court Street in Hackensack.The church provides the city's homeless with nutritious dinnerstwice each week.
Non-perishable donations will be accepted from Wed., Oct. 1through Fri., Nov. 14 at three Bergen County locations:Alfred Sanzari Enterprises' corporate offices atthe Court Plaza office complex (25 Main Street,Suite 600, Hackensack); the lobby of Heights Plaza(777 Terrace Ave., Hasbrouck Heights); and the lobby of TheIvanhoe (130 Overlook Ave., Hackensack). For those unableto deliver donations, pickups are available. Please e-mail [email protected] toschedule a pickup.
Suggested donations include canned meats, peanut butter, jelly(no glass jars), canned or dry soups, canned stews and chili, teabags, ground coffee, canned pasta, canned fruits and vegetables,hot and cold cereal, rice, cake and pancake mix, syrup, powderedmilk, packaged pasta meals, juice boxes and canned juice, cannedbeans, Spam, canned gravy, granulated sugar, baby food and cereal(glass jars accepted), baby formula, granola and cereal bars, alongwith other non-perishable food items.
