TYSONS CORNER, VA—Last October, event management softwarecompany Cvent thrilled the Northern Virginiacommunity with its decision to lease 130,000 squarefeet in Greensboro Station, an officebuilding on the Silver Line located at 1710 Solutions Dr. Thebuilding was once part of the SAIC headquarters and subsequentlypurchased by The Meridian Group.

Virginia competed against Maryland for this lease; FairfaxCounty secured a $1 million grant from the Governor's OpportunityFund for the project.

At the ribbon cutting, though, CEO ReggieAggarwal said the construction of the Silver Line, whichopened July 26, was a major factor in the company's decision onwhere to locate the new headquarters because it will help lurepotential employees. "We are very grateful for all theinfrastructure that has been put in here," he said. "Thanks toeveryone here for creating the right environment to grow."
