SHIPPENSBURG, PA—Shippensburg University StudentServices, Inc. and Campus Apartments ofPhiladelphia report the completion of the $65-million second phaseof a development project to upgrade all of the university'son-campus residences.

Since breaking ground in 2011, Campus Apartments has completedconstruction on six new residences to improve the quality ofhousing and reshape the campus environment as part of a multiphasehousing renewal plan. The new buildings provide more than 1,800students with modern sustainable living and learningfacilities.

The $65-million second phase includes three new residences onthe south side of campus—Keefer Hall,Lackhove Hall and McCune Hall.These facilities accommodate 922 students with semi-suite andfull-suite floor plans, as well as common areas and lounges forstudent interaction and studying. The new residences providestudents with more than 292,000 square feet of living and learningspace, as well as green space for outdoor recreation and leisureactivities.
