SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FL—Work continues on the 400 SunnyIsles mixed-use high-rise development here with ananticipated completion a year from now.

The project, which broke ground a year ago, held a topping offceremony on Sept. 12 that was attended by more than 500construction workers, supervisors, executives, Realtors, and localofficials.

The 860,000-square-foot development is being built on the southside of the 163rd St. Bridge along the Intracoastal Waterway. Thetwo 21-story towers will contain 15 stories of condominiumresidences atop a six-story pedestal with parking, restaurants,retail and residences.
