HOUSTON—Hines is entering the Indianresidential market.

Hines India Residential has been conceived to invest inmulti-phased, for-sale residential developmentsthat require long-term equity capital, with a particular focus inkey urban centers of India, like the National Capital Region (NCR),the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Bangalore and Pune. Theprogram has an initial capitalization of more than $250million, and its focus is to partner with local Indiandevelopers. The partnership will leverage local partners' Indianexperience and Hines global know-how in designing and developingdifferentiated residential products that creates value for endusers.
