MIAMI—Shore Club, a legendary 309-room hotel, is morphing itself into a luxury condominium. The new owner, New York-based HFZ Capital Group, is reinventing the 1901 Collins Avenue hotel in Miami Beach, FL.
”We specialize in uncovering exceptional real estate opportunities,” says Ziel Feldman, founding principal of HFZ. The firm chose Douglas Elliman to lead the sales effort at the three-acre destination, which will coincide with Art Basel Miami Beach in December.
The Shore Club has a history of celebrity sightings and is home to an infinity pool, rooftop spa, and direct beach access. When complete, the hotel will offer 85 luxury condo residences and 100 hotel rooms.
“Miami Beach is one of the world's most desirable destinations,” says Horacio LeDon, president of Douglas' development marketing for Florida and California. “As the winter season approaches, we believe the opportunity to own a beachfront residence at the Shore Club will produce tremendous levels of excitement from New Yorkers and the international jet-set crowd.”
