ORLANDO, FL—Hotelier Starwood Hotels & ResortsWorldwide, Inc. of Stamford, CT reports it plans to openthe Element Orlando hotel less than a mile fromUniversal Studios here in July 2016.
At the time of the opening, Element will have three new hotelsin operation in Florida. Next year the brand plans to open theElement Orlando North and the ElementMiami Doral hotels.
The 151-room extended-stay Element Orlando is owned byBarakat Orlando Resort, LLC, and will be developedby GCD Associates of Walkersville, MD and managedby Paramount Hotel Group of Fairfield, NJ.
