UNION CITY, CA—In response to the growing need for specializedfood distribution spaces, WestcoreProperties has completed a 12-yearlease agreement with The Chefs' Warehousefor a 119,000-square-foot industrial property here.

The building, located at 1250 Whipple Road wasoriginally built in 1974 and expanded in 1989. Westcore acquiredthe property in 2014 and will be completing improvements toaccommodate the new tenant. Past tenants includedDreyers Ice Cream and Besco. TheChefs' Warehouse, a fine food distribution company, will beginoccupying the building in March 2015.
