RENTON, WA—SECO Development plans to breakground today on the site of a four-star hotel andconvention center on the South end of LakeWashington.
The luxury hotel will have 12 stories recognizing the nearbySeattle Seahawks and its “Twelfth Man” fan-base.The Hotel at Southport is the third stage of amulti-phase development which includes residences and retail atThe Bristol at Southport and The Bristolat Southport Phase II.
The festivities are to include speeches from Lt.Governor Brad Owen, US Congressman AdamSmith of Washington's 9th District, mayor of RentonDenis Law, Mayor Conrad Lee,along with Michael Christ of SECO Development, andCraig Davenport of MulvanneyG2Architecture.
