DENVER—Baceline Investments LLC, a Denver-basedboutique private equity real estate investment and managementcompany, is listing its Opportunities Fund onRealCrowd, a crowdfunding platformfor the real estate industry. The website connects accreditedinvestors with real estate investment opportunities across theUnited States.
Baceline is using the online technology for the first time in aneffort to connect with accredited investors who may not otherwiseknow about its Opportunities Fund. Real Estate crowdfunding becameavailable a year ago when restrictions were changed with theJumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act.Commercial real estate investment firms, previously restricted frommarketing projects to the public, can now advertise to accreditedinvestors defined as those with a net worth of at least $1 millionand an annual income of at least $200,000.
“Real Crowd can be a gateway to reach new investors not familiarwith our offerings,” said David Puchi, principalof Baceline Investments. “This technology provides us with a chanceto showcase our investment platform and expertise to a larger groupof investors.”
