CHARLOTTE, NC—Batson-Cook Construction reportsit has broken ground on the $25-million multifamily propertyThe Gibson here.

The project is being developed by Atlanta-based PollackShores Real Estate Group. The Gibson is the first projectbetween Batson-Cook and Pollack Shores, who are also planningfuture multi-family developments in the Southeast. The complex at 1000 Central Ave. is expected to be delivered inthe fourth quarter of 2015. The mid-rise, infill apartments willtotal 202,000 rentable square feet. The project was designed byPoole and Poole Architects.
