UNION TOWNSHIP, PA—Real estate investmentmanager Clarion Partners and MRPIndustrial, the industrial real estate affiliate ofMRP Realty, have acquired the formerI-81/I-78 Logistics Park, a planned 129-acre,two-building, 1,502,000 square foot class A industrial center inUnion Township, Lebanon County, PA. The development, which will nowbe named Gateway Logistics Park, includespad-in-place development parcels for both a 1,002,000 square footand 500,000 square foot distribution center.

"Clarion is very excited to be partnered withMRP Industrial on the acquisition and developmentof this project in Central Pennsylvania. With the market's supplyconstraints we feel we are well positioned to capture build-to-suitopportunities or build spec inventory,” says AndySitzer, senior vice president with ClarionPartners. “This will be the third project the twocompanies have joined forces; the others are Fulling MillRoad in Harrisburg and Burlington IndustrialPark in Burlington, NJ.”
