DUBAI—Developer Omniyat Group has begun work ona on a 25-story condo project in located at the trunk of the worldfamous Palm archipelago in Dubai. CalledOne at Palm Jumeirah, the project is an AED 2.5billion premium residential development that will be the singletallest residential property on the Palm.

Designed by international architecture firmSOMA, One at Palm Jumeirah will offer 90residences within the 25-story structure. Unveiled at theCityscape Global Conference in the Dubai WorldTrade Center in September, it is scheduled for completion by2017.

“Throughout the next three years, the Omniyat Group and ourpartner DSI will work jointly to build One at Palm to a standardwell beyond anything ever seen,” said Mahdi Amjad,CEO of Omniyat. “One at Palm Jumeirah is specially crafted for themost privileged of the privileged few, which shows the commitmentreflected in our design approach.”
