NAPA, CA—Demolition work has begun here for a five-story, 183-room, 4-Diamond, boutique luxury Archer Hotel with a grand opening planned for Winter 2016. The development will be part of the ongoing transformation of Napa Center, Trademark Property Co. and Zapolski Real Estate's 275,000-square-foot, mixed-use redevelopment in downtown Napa. Wichita, Kansas-based LodgeWorks Partners, L.P. recently closed on the acquisition of the hotel site.
In addition to the Archer Hotel, Napa Center will create a central downtown district with 40 high quality fashion and specialty shops, best-in-class food and beverage venues, as well as provide a vibrant, mixed-use environment celebrating the Napa Valley lifestyle.
"Downtown Napa continues to gain momentum, and Archer will be the highest quality hotel in the downtown area. This follows on the heels of LodgeWorks' recent opening of their first hotel in New York City," said Todd Zapolski, founder of Zapolski Real Estate.
"Archer is a terrific lodging anchor for Napa Center and the city. We look forward to merchandising and leasing the 20,000-square-foot retail ground floor of the hotel building as part of our Napa Center project," said Tommy Miller, managing director and chief investment officer of Trademark Property Co.
Trademark Property Co. is an operator, investor and developer of award-winning, mixed-use town centers, specialty, community, power centers and enclosed regional malls. Since 1992, the Fort Worth, Texas-based Trademark has invested in, or developed over 11.4 million square feet of retail and mixed-use assets worth over $2 billion.
