MASHANTUCKET, CT—The $120-million Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods, which is under construction here, is scheduled to have its grand opening on May 21, 2015.

Construction on the new Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods began in September 2013, according to Foxwoods Resort Casino. Once complete the 300,000-square-foot project will feature 82 upscale branded and designer outlet retailers including: American Eagle Outfitters, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Banana Republic Factory Store, Calvin Klein, Fossil, Gap Outlet, LOFT Outlet, Nike Factory Store, Skechers, Steve Madden, Tommy Hilfiger and others.

Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods, the first Tanger Outlets destination linked to a casino, is being developed in partnership with the Gordon Group LLC. Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc., a publicly-traded REIT headquartered in Greensboro, NC, operates and owns, or has an ownership interest in a portfolio of 46 upscale outlet shopping centers in 26 states and in Canada, totaling approximately 14 million square feet.

The project has already created an estimated 400 jobs during the construction phase of the project and will generate an estimated $10.4 million in annual sales tax once completed.
