ROCKVILLE, MD—Two tenants are taking a total of 46,671 square feet in separate, long-term leases in an LNR-owned building. CBRE brokered the leases at Blackwell 2, a class A office located at 9600 Blackwell Rd. The tenants are Dataprise, and Shady Grove Fertility, each of which will be leasing a full floor of the building.
Dataprise is taking the entire fourth floor at 23,313 square feet. Shady Grove Fertility will lease the entire fifth floor of 23,358 square feet. The two firms are expected to move in in the first quarter of 2015.
For the region the deals are telling as they represent net new growth for North Rockville, CBRE's Ben Powell says in a prepared statement. "Shady Grove Fertility is growing its footprint by 30%, and Dataprise, which is relocating from another location in Rockville, is also expanding."
Powell represented LNR in both transactions.
