IRVINE, CA—TRI Pointe has launched “TRIPointe Solutions,” a suite of homebuyerservices that aims to provide end-to-end support throughout theclosing process. The program consists of “TRI PointeConnect,” which was formed as a joint venture withimortgage to provide mortgage-related services,and “TRI Pointe Assurance,” a wholly owned TRIPointe company, which will act as a title agency for FirstAmerican Title Insurance Co.

The launch takes place just four months after TRI Pointe'smuch-publicized merger with Weyerhaeuser Real EstateCo., which operates as five distinct home-buildingcompanies (Pardee Homes, Quadrant Homes, Winchester Homes,Trendmaker Homes and Maracay Homes). Themerger marked TRI Pointe's emergence as one of the top 10home-building companies by equity-market capitalization in the US.TRI Pointe Solutions is expected to enhance TRI Pointe's earningsgrowth and benefit homebuyers by offering a seamless buying andclosing process.

According to Tom Mitchell, the firm's COO,“Following the merger with WRECO, we turned ourattention to executing key incremental income initiatives tocapitalize on the company's expanded operations. These new mortgageand title services are the beginning of the added value that weanticipate form our diversified platform.”
