DALLAS– CBRE hasannounced that SoftLayer, an IBM Company, hasleased 125,000 square feet of office space at StanfordCorporate Center, 14001 North Dallas Parkway. The firmwill relocate its Dallas corporate headquarters in February, fromits current 4849 Alpha Rd. location.

“We were tasked with identifying the best option to accommodateSoftLayer's rapid growth and maintain maximum flexibility,”says Clay Vaughn, first vice president withCBRE's technology and media practice group. “It was imperative thatthe majority of its Dallas employees continue to work under oneroof to preserve the culture that they had worked so hard to build,and remaining in Dallas County was critical. Stanford CorporateCenter was the perfect fit because of its location, nearbyamenities and the ability to accommodate future hiring growth.”

Acquired by IBM in July 2013, SoftLayer's new headquarters hascapacity for more than 700 employees. This additional space willgive SoftLayer an opportunity to build out and increase its localemployee base, especially in the areas of sales, marketing, financeand product development.
