WASHINGTON, DC—The District of Columbia HousingAuthority Board of Commissioners has selected theMRP Realty/CSG Urban Partners team as itsdeveloper for the DCHA Headquarters at 1133 North Capitol St.,N.E.

“The most important thing about this redevelopment is that wewill be adding affordable housing units where they currently don'texist,” says Housing Authority chairman PedroAlfonso. “We will work with the MRP Realty/CSG Urban teamand other city partners to finance as many units for low- andmoderate-income families.”

The redeveloped site in NOMA will include office, residential,and retail space. DCHA's headquarters, bounded by North CapitolStreet, M Street, a parking lot about 420 feet from North CapitolStreet, and Pierce Street, translates to more than 1 million grosssquare feet of developable property due to transferable developmentcredits and permitted density.
