ATASEHIR, Istanbul—US architectural firm Roy HiggsInternational has been retained to design the retailportion of Metropol Istanbul, a global mixed-useproject and architectural landmark of Istanbul that is risingwithin the borders of the Istanbul International FinancialCenter in Atasehir.

We're confident that his retail design will integrateseamlessly with Metropol Istanbul's mix of superior residentialapartments, offices, world-class shopping and international diningfacilities.”

Metropol Istanbul is one of the largest mixed-use properties inTurkey, constructed on 100,000 square meters (1million square feet) of premium land, the Metropol Tower—one of thetallest structures in Europe—and luxury residential with more than1,200 apartments. In addition, the retail development will featurethree stories of exclusive retail, with a 400-meter (4,000-foot)long rooftop retail street, an international health spa and a16-theater cinema. The total construction area exceeds 700,000square meters (approximately 7 million square feet).
