GLEN ROCK, NJ—Broadway theater production giant The Shubert Organization has acquired the Galleria building here for $5.4 million in an all cash transaction.

The company, that owns or operates 17 of the 40 theaters on Broadway, plans to use the upstairs office space of the two-story 30,300-square-foot office building for business operations, according to Seth Pollack of Massey Knakal Realty Services.

Pollack represented the seller Coco Family Realty Management LLC and Alex Cocoziello of Elmwood Park, according to CoStar. The ground floor of the property, built in 1990 includes retailers Rocca restaurant, NJ.com and Sasha Hair Design, according to The Record.

On Tuesday, Shubert announced that it was acquiring the five-theater off-Broadway complex New World Stages located at West 50th Street in Manhattan. See story in The Record.
