MIAMI—Two former public housing properties have been transformedto offer 212 affordable housing units forlow-income families in Fort Myers, FL. A public private partnership(P3) is behind the $38.3 million project.

Pinnacle Housing Group and SouthwestFlorida Affordable Housing Choice Foundation, a 501(C)(3)nonprofit created by the Housing Authority of the City of FortMyers (HACFM), partnered on the multifamilyproject. HACFM owned the development sites for Landings at EastPointe and East Pointe Place.

“The sound policies that have led to allocating much neededHousing Tax Credits for these two developments have ensured qualitynew housing, jobs, opportunity and future economic growth for thecitizens of our community,” says Senator LizbethBenaquisto. The complexes are located just north of theDr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (SR 82) corridor and west ofInterstate 75.
