ADDISON, Tex.-- Cadence McShane Construction Co. has announced that the firm has recently completed comprehensive construction services for Legacy at Falcon Point, on behalf of PinPoint Commercial LP. The new, 82-unit assisted-living and memory-care facility was constructed on a seven-acre site at 1520 Katy Gap Rd. in Katy and is located within one mile of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and Katy Mills Mall. 

The two-story, 64,281-square-foot luxury development was completed utilizing panel wall and steel construction, accented with a natural stone and stucco exterior. The complex features 60 assisted-living residences and 22 units designated for memory-care residents.

A “Main Street and Neighborhood” concept was utilized for the site layout and design of Legacy at Falcon Point. Each residential wing of the facility serves as a separate neighborhood that features its own unique theme. Cadence McShane constructed each wing around a central Main Street where residents can enjoy numerous amenities such as a movie theater, spa, restaurant, fitness center and sports bar. The assisted-living and memory-care facility also incorporates state-of-the-art technology to provide the best quality care for its residents including wireless RFID door entry systems, identity lighting and camera systems that monitor all areas outside of the resident apartments, allowing for the immediate delivery of assistance when needed. Cadence McShane also completed the landscaping and sidewalks.
