WASHINGTON, DC—Equity Commonwealth has tapped CBRE to provide property management services for eight properties in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area. The eight properties are part of a larger 41.2-million-square foot portfolio that CBRE is managing.

The eight local properties include 1250 H St., NW; 9713-9717 Key West Ave., located in the Danac Stiles Business Park, in Rockville, MD; and 111 Market Place, also known as The Candler Building, in Baltimore.

All together, CBRE is providing property management services for 145 properties owned by the REIT, in what it says is one of the largest third-party property management assignments in the industry.

John Germano is leading the Equity Commonwealth account team in Washington/Baltimore.
