HOUSTON--Crow Holdings Industrial (CHI), theindustrial-development affiliate of Dallas-based investmententerprise Crow Holdings, has broken groundon a new 24-acre industrial business park in northwest Houston. CHIpurchased an existing building and adjacent land located on TannerRoad, just west of Beltway 8, to assemble the acreage to developApex Distribution Center.

"When complete, Apex Distribution Center will provide morethan 410,000 square feet of class A industrial space in theheart of Houston's strongest industrial submarket, just minutesfrom the Beltway and 290,” Crow Holding Industrial foundingpartner Will Mundinger told GlobeSt.com. “We areexcited to have broken ground on our first project in Houston, wehope it is the first of many."

The park will consist of three warehouses. The park's two newbuildings will be 204,000-square-foot and 66,000-square-footfront-load, light-industrial warehouses. The buildings will offerthe option for divisibility and the site will provide trailerparking and options for outside storage. StreamRealty will handle leasing and property management.
