NEW YORK CITY—More than 100 NYCREW and AREW members and guestscame together Tuesday on the Upper East Side for the NYCREW AnnualGala & Empire Award. Attendees gathered to celebrate the yearnow ending and to raise a toast to a bright future just after thetwo organizations announced they were uniting to form CREW NewYork. To that end, one of NYCREW's founders, Dotti Cunningham ofglobeDOTTIng Travel, spoke about the early days of the organizationwhile Barbara Champoux, a two-time president, told those assembledabout NYCREW's growth and outreach.

The evening also included the handing down of the Empire Award,which was given to Leila Larijani, SVP—wealth management at UBSFinancial Services. The Empire Award recognizes
outstanding dedication and service both to the NYCREW chapter andthe industry. It succeeds the Vanguard awards, which previouslywere given by NYCREW in several categories.

Proceeds from a raffle held during the party will be used tosupport the CREW Network Foundation, the only foundation solelydedicated to advancing women in commercial real estate.
