FORT WORTH–Venture Commercial, a commercial real estate brokerage firm with a specialty in restaurant retail, has inked two leases – one in Dallas and one in Fort Worth. Buzzbrews Kitchen will open in Lakewood and The Wild Mushroom Steakhouse and Lounge has moved to Fort Worth.
“Buzzbrews will be a great addition to the Lakewood area,” Easley Waggoner, Jr. of Venture Commercial told GlobeSt.com. “They are a proven concept from local roots that will appeal to this neighborhood's sense of community.”
Buzzbrews Inc. signed a lease on a 6,034-square-foot space in the Skillman Live Oak shopping center, located at 5815 Live Oak St. in East Dallas. Waggoner and Scott Lake of Venture Commercial represented the landlord in lease negotiations, while Terry Syler of The Retail Connection represented the tenant. The restaurant is expected to open early next year.
Over in west Fort Worth, Waggoner, Jr. represented Ridglea Village Shopping Center in lease negotiations with the owners of The Wild Mushroom. The restaurant has moved from its original location in Weatherford and opened earlier this month in a new 4,339-square-foot space in the center, located at 3206 Winthrop Ave. The tenant was self-represented.
“We are excited to have landed a great local concept,” Waggoner, Jr. says. “Jerrett Joslin's restaurant will flourish in the heart of the historic Camp Bowie Boulevard district.”
