DALLAS--Dallas-based Prescott Group is developing its newest project, 2727 Turtle Creek. The 380,000-square-foot project will sit on a more-than-5 acre site, offering office space, dining, an indoor/outdoor conference center and rooftop terrace in addition to executive parking and a five-story parking structure.
"Today's tenants want more than four walls and a window,” Brian Leslie, managing director of Prescott Group, told GlobeSt.com. “With this new project, we are looking not only to satisfy the tenant's space needs, but also to provide an atmosphere which will foster their employees through collaboration and inspiration.”
The project encompasses 375,000 square feet of office space; the first floor of the tower will feature a 5,000-square-foot restaurant space with outdoor dining area, a coffee house and deli. Office tenants will also enjoy the use of an indoor/outdoor meeting space and conference facility that will be located on the eighth floor, overlooking the Turtle Creek Trail. This 3,000-square-foot flexible space is designed to provide a creative area and a remote wireless work option for tenants. Companies can also use the space for business lunch meetings, gatherings and large- or small-scale private events. Rounding out the intended work-life aspect, tenants will have access to a fitness center, lockers and a bike-share and storage component to complement the immediate access to the Katy and Turtle Creek trails.
“Companies are hiring talent who feel empowered and inspired to collaborate, think big and go beyond the traditional workplace roles,” says Leslie.
The architect for 2727 Turtle Creek is Merriman Associates/Architects. The design is a modern concept with influences from the international style, neo-modern and the neighboring buildings on Turtle Creek. The project will utilize green building practices such as rainwater collection, the use of natural light and many more strategies of LEED-certified design.
