PHILADELPHIA, PA—Wallace Roberts &Todd senior associate Karen Blanchard hasbeen elected a chapter director and architectural designerJared Edgar McKnight has been elected associatedirector for the 2015 AIA Philadelphia Board ofDirectors.
Blanchard is a registered architect with morethan 16 years of experience. She has been an active co-chair of thePhiladelphia AIA's Women in Architecture Committeefor the past two years. She is also a member of AIAPhiladelphia's Urban Design Committee and was the 2010AIA Philadelphia Young Architect award recipient,in addition to winning numerous AIA Philadelphiaand AIA Pennsylvania design awards withWRT.
McKnight has been an active member ofAIA Philadelphia since beginning his career. Hewas an active member of the American Institute ofArchitecture Students, including serving on theAIAS National Board of Directors as theNortheast Quad Director. Since entering theprofession, he has been very active in AIAPhiladelphia's Associate Committee, chairing thecommittee's largest event, CANstructionPhiladelphia. In addition, McKnightreceived the AIA Philadelphia Volunteer of theYear Award, earlier this year, a great honor in recognition of hisservice to AIA Philadelphia.
