YAPHANK, NY—Island Swimming Sales, Inc. has signed a 56,000-square-foot lease deal at the Max Industrial Park here.
The deal, arranged by Ashlind Properties, involves a five-year lease with Island Swimming, which operates the Island Recreational retail store chain which sells swimming pools and supplies. The company will occupy space at 445 Sills Rd, a 350,000-square-foot multi-tenant warehouse building in the Max Industrial Park.
Richard Cohen, president of Ashlind Properties, represented Island Swimming. Leo Farrell of Coldwell Banker Commercial Island Corporate Services represented the landlord, Sinkoff Realty of Yaphank.
Based in Massapequa, NY, Island Swimming operates stores in Deer Park, Farmingdale, Franklin Square and Medford, NY.
The transaction brings Cohen's transaction volume—sales and leases—in 2014 to 1.5 million square feet, the company states.
