AUSTIN—KW Commercial has announced the closing of Goodwin Apartments in Austin. The deal went under contract and closed in less than a week's time.
“This area of east Austin is growing rapidly,” Jim Young, of KW Commercial, told GlobeSt.com. “Torchy's Tacos has moved its headquarters nearby, and there are a host of new activities and events coming into the area.”
Located at 3706 Goodwin Ave., the asset is a 68-unit multifamily complex near Airport Boulevard and Oak Springs Drive.
Young and Nick Nelson of KW Commercial represented the buyer, a multifamily investment group. The duo points to Bob Roberts of Gracy Title as “especially helpful in clearing the way to a quick closing.”
The new owner plans to do a value-add of the property.
