HOUSTON--Trammell Crow Co. has made two key promotions in its Houston and Dallas offices.

The firm has promoted Brandon Houston to principal with the firm's Houston business unit and Joel Behrens to principal with the firm's Dallas/Fort Worth business unit.

Houston will continue his role sourcing and executing new office development and investment opportunities throughout the greater Houston area.

“Brandon has played important roles in our Energy Center and Noble Energy Center developments, adeptly handling the financing and other aspects of some of the largest office projects in the Houston market,” Jim Casey, senior managing director, Houston business unit, told GlobeSt.com.

Since joining TCC in 2012, Houston has helped TCC secure leases, development capital and helped manage the development of more than 2.5 million square feet of class A speculative office space throughout Houston, including Noble Energy Center One & Two, Energy Center Three, Four and Five and One Grand Crossing.

In Dallas, Behrens will continue to lead the company's Dallas multi-family division, under the High Street Residential brand, including overseeing origination, financing, joint-venture structuring and execution of multi-family investments throughout Texas.

Behrens is currently handling the residential development of more than 1.5 million square feet, including Knox Heights, M-Line Tower and Park District. He previously served as a senior vice president and joined the company in 2008. During his tenure, Behrens has executed the development of more than 2.8 million square feet.
