ROCKVILLE, MD—CAPREIT has restructured its executive leadership team.

Three existing CAPREIT associates have been appointed to leadership roles: Andrew S. Kadish will serve as president, Ernest L. Heymann has been appointed the company's chief investment officer and Jennifer K. Cassell accepted the position of chief administrative officer. Dick Kadish, who founded and served as president of CAPREIT since its inception in 1993, has transitioned to chairman of the board of directors for the company.

WASHINGTON, DC—Washington REIT has appointed Stephen E. Riffee executive vice president and CFO-elect, effective on February 17, 2015. Riffee will succeed Bill Camp who is stepping down as CFO after Washington REIT's year-end reporting period.

Riffee was EVP and CFO for Corporate Office Properties Trust. Before joining COPT in 2006, he was EVP and CFO for CarrAmerica Realty Corp.

COLUMBIA, MD—Meanwhile at COPT, Anthony Mifsud will become EVP and CFO on Feb 4. Also, Scott D. Robuck, who has been with COPT since 2010, will become vice president of Finance and Treasurer.

Separately, COPT also announced it has sold 56 acres of non-strategic land in the White Marsh submarket of Greater Baltimore. The company realized gross proceeds of $18.6 million and, in the quarter ending March 31, 2015, will recognize GAAP gains on sales of approximately $4 million.

ANNAPOLIS, MD—David M. McClatchy, Jr., has joined the local office of MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, as a broker. He is a 25-year industry veteran.
