MCKINNEY, Tex.--Craig Ranch, a 2,200-acre residential and retail community, has entered its final phases of residential build-out, with more than 1,000 single-family home sites under construction or in the pipeline to be delivered in the next 36 months by area home builders.
“This final phase of residential construction in Craig Ranch is timed perfectly with the strong housing demand in the area,” David Craig, founder and developer of Craig Ranch, told GlobeSt.com. “We expect to have 20,000 residents when this next generation of homes is complete in about five years.”
Craig Ranch currently has a little over 9,000 residents, but it is estimated with the final phase of single-family and the upcoming multi-family construction, the community could see 20,000 residents in the next five years.
Craig Ranch's new builders include Ashton Woods Homes, Beazer Homes, Darling Homes, David Weekley Homes, Megatel and Landon Homes in addition to existing builders Huntington Homes, Our Country Homes and Nathan Carlisle. New neighborhoods will be priced from the $300s to $600s-plus, and offer a wide variety of home styles.
Located at the crossroads of Frisco, Plano, Allen and McKinney, Craig Ranch is located within the Frisco ISD and has on-site schools within the community.
