AUSTIN--Fort Worth-based Fuzzy's Taco Shop opened its 77th restaurant earlier this month and its third location in Austin.
The newly built 4,039-square-foot restaurant is located in the center of the Midtown Commons at Crestview Station, a mixed-use development in north Austin off North Lamar Boulevard, and is operated by franchisee Primo Eats Restaurant Management LLC. It is Primo's first Fuzzy's Taco Shop, with other locations coming soon in Round Rock and Georgetown, the company says.
"We are pleased to work with Primo Eats Restaurant Management to open their first location in our home state," says Fuzzy's Taco Shop president Chuck Bush.
Located next to the Crestview MetroRail Station at Airport Boulevard and North Lamar Boulevard, the new Fuzzy's serves breakfast all day, lunch and dinner, and will offer catering as well.
"We are thrilled to join the Fuzzy's Taco Shop family," says franchise owner Eric Smith. “Even more exciting for local Fuzzy's fans is our potential to grow the brand in the greater Austin area. We see immediate opportunity to bring Fuzzy's famous and fun Baja-style fast-casual concept to more diners in the Round Rock and Georgetown areas and have already started researching potential new locations.”
Other Travis County locations are in Cedar Park and near the University of Texas at Austin.
