DALLAS--Corbin J. Baumel has been named CFO of Axiometrics Inc., the Dallas-based apartment and student housing research and analysis firm.
“We're delighted to welcome Corbin on board as Axiometrics continues its phenomenal growth,” says Ron Johnsey, founder and president of Axiometrics. “His extensive background in financial management and process development, as well as a superior knowledge of GAAP and economic forecasting, will be of enormous value to us as we move to the next level in our corporate development.”
Baumel comes to Axiometrics from Platinum Training LLC, where he served as CFO. While at Platinum Training, Baumel had oversight of all corporate administration, including finance, accounting and taxation, and internal and external financial and compliance reporting.
Before joining Platinum Training, Baumel was CFO with LPB Energy Management, which was sold to Ecova Inc. during his tenure. While with LPB, Baumel helped engineer an 18-month financial turnaround, moving the company from experiencing significant losses to generating strong earnings, including a compounded annual recurring revenue growth rate of 14 percent. Following LPB's sale, Baumel led the companies' financial integration, as well as managing the financial planning, billing, revenue assurance and facilities of the combined entities.
“Axiometrics has a well-deserved reputation for delivering quality products and insight to a fast-growing market,” Baumel says. “The fact that Axiometrics is celebrating 20 years this year is incredible, and I'm looking forward to further strengthening the company's foundation for future growth, opportunities and success.”
