Personalis provides researchers and clinicians accurate DNA sequencing and interpretation of human exomes and genomes. The company operates a CLIA Licensed and CAP Accredited diagnostic laboratory and provides advanced research services for inherited disease and cancer. Personalis recently completed a $33 million Series C financing round. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, bringing the company's total venture capital raised to date to $75 million. “We are excited to be in a position where our company's business and funding have both increased significantly,” said John West, chief executive officer of Personalis Inc. “Our new facility in Menlo Park enables to expand both our office and laboratory space, while meeting our quality requirements and plans for continued growth.” “Personalis is a strong leader in the growing life sciences community and, as such, we are proud they are thriving in our biotech and life sciences campus in Menlo Park,” said John Tarlton, president and CEO of Tarlton Properties. The Personalis lease comes on the heels of an 18,000-square-foot long-term lease and expansion by Intersect ENT, another growing life sciences company, at 1555 Adams Drive in Menlo Business Park. Tarlton Properties, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Menlo Park, provides commercial property development, redevelopment, construction management, and management services, as well as innovative and creative investment opportunities in select properties.
