SAN FRANCISCO—Colliers International has named Jim Osburn to the post of managing director of real estate management services (REMS) for the brokerage firm's San Francisco office, company officials say.

“Osburn's diverse background, especially in downtown office high-rise buildings, will provide Colliers' clients in San Francisco a clear advantage,” said Colliers' Alan Collenette, regional executive managing director for the company's operations in San Francisco, Marin County and Sacramento. “He brings real world solutions to rental growth and cost containment, which lead to efficiencies and increased property values. He is particularly sought after for his deep knowledge and experience with downtown San Francisco high-rise properties and his vast asset management experience. He will be a game-changer for our clients and for the value he can add to their existing and prospective assets.”

Osburn has over 15 years' experience in commercial real estate asset management, property management and valuation. In his new role with Colliers he will oversee all aspects of property management in the San Francisco market. He has a proven record as a senior leader stressing bottom-line results, including strategic planning, value enhancement and strong client relationships.

Prior to joining Colliers, Osburn served as a senior vice president in the asset management department for Pacific Eagle Holdings, where his responsibilities included oversight of all property management functions and the development of an asset strategy for the company's portfolio. He also served in a similar position with RREEF Funds.

“I see a tremendous opportunity in the San Francisco market to differentiate our management services by partnering with clients in the execution of their asset business plans,” said Osburn. “Colliers provides a powerful platform to provide value-enhancing management services for our clients.”
