SAN FRANCISCO—Alliance, a national specialist in multifamily acquisitions, development, construction and management, has appointed Peter Solar as managing director of investments for Northern California. Solar will oversee development activity in the Northern California region, to include managing all projects from the deal sourcing and negotiation phases through programming, capitalization, design, construction, operations and disposition.
“Peter is among Northern California's most seasoned and respected multifamily professionals,” said Jay Hiemenz, Alliance president/COO. “We are lucky to have him on board—his impact to our growing portfolio will be immediate.”
Solar has a multifamily background, most recently with Equity Residential in the Bay Area, where he was responsible for executing a large development pipeline. Prior to EQR, Solar was managing director at Trammell Crow Residential where he worked for almost 10 years starting in Boston, and then heading west to California, where he sourced and executed development projects.
Solar received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, and his MBA in Real Estate from George Washington University.
