HOUSTON-- Moody Rambin has been awarded the leasing and management of Detroit-based Gupta Partners' 600,000-square-foot office portfolio in Houston.
The assignment includes 10700 Richmond and 3200 Wilcrest in the Westchase submarket; 2180 and 2190 North Loop West in the North Loop area; 12946 Dairy Ashford in Sugar Land; and 550 Westcott in Midtown. The class B portfolio is 88 percent leased.
Bradley Kovach, senior vice president at Moody Rambin, tells GlobeSt.com that his firm will “bring detailed knowledge and extensive relationships” to the Gupta holdings.
“Twelve Houston leasing and management companies competed for this assignment, including several large national and international firms…We look forward to repositioning these properties and leasing them to their full potential," he says.
In addition to finance, insurance, health care, energy, engineering and law tenants, Kovach says start-up firms will be eyed for the space. The businesses, he said, are looking for value in well-maintained, well-managed buildings in accessible locations.
Moody Rambin's Kurt Kistler, Derek Beck and Karen Wright will handle lease negotiations and marketing of the six properties. Abbie Jacobson will handle property management.

10700 Richmond is a three-story, 140,269-square-foot office building two blocks west of the West Sam Houston Parkway/Beltway 8; Westchase III, at 3200 Wilcrest is a six-story, 163,696-square-foot property at Wilcrest and Richmond; 550 Westcott, a five-story, 83,366-square-foot building, overlooks Memorial Park on the west and downtown on the east; situated across from the Sugar Point and Fountains on the Lake shopping centers, Sugar Land Plaza, 12946 Dairy Ashford, is a four-story, 64,766-square-foot office property; and the five-story, 72,813-square-foot 2180 North Loop West and the four-story, 62,742-square-foot 2190 North Loop West are located on the north side of Loop 610 at East T.C. Jester.
