PARAMUS, NJ—Bob's Discount Furniture, a regional furniture retailer with 57 showrooms in 11 states in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic regions, has leased the former Fortunoff Building at 150 Route 17 northbound in Paramus, NJ.

The property has not had a permanent tenant since July 2009. Ripco Real Estate's

New Jersey team, led by Ira Kerner and Alison Horbach, started working on the assignment in October 2014.  The free-standing 39,000 square foot retail building on approximately 2.75 acres has terrific access and is conveniently located between Century Road and Midland Avenue. The site is easily accessible to Route 4, The Garden State Parkway and Route 208.

“With around 150,000 cars passing this highly visible signature Route 17 location daily, this should be a terrific location for Bob's,” says Ripco's Kerner.

“With five major regional malls (Garden State Plaza, Paramus Park, Fashion Center, Shoppes at Riverside, and Bergen Town Center) within 3-miles of the site, Bob's will be in a great position to capitalize on the existing retail traffic,” says Horbach.

BKR Services represented Bob's in this transaction.
