DALLAS--MYCON General Contractors has completed construction of two large industrial warehouse facilities: Parc Royal, Buildings 1-4 in Irving and Lakeside Ridge Distribution Center, Buildings 1 and 2 in Flower Mound.
“The sheer scale of these projects, both completed under fast-track timelines, demonstrates our capacity to deliver quality industrial office and warehouse facilities,” says John Riggins, MYCON's vice president of office and industrial.
Park Royal, located at 3700 W. Royal Lane, is a 511,600-square-foot master-planned on a 30-acre tract. The design-build project team included developer Jackson-Shaw, GSR Andrade Architects Inc. and civil engineer Halff Associates Inc.
Lakeside Ridge Distribution Center, located at 1201 Lakeside Parkway (Building 1) and 501 Gerault Road (Building 2), comprises two tilt-wall buildings featuring office and warehouse space with a total of 453,300 square feet.
Both projects were completed in less than nine months, according to Riggins. The project team included owner/developer Crow Holdings, construction manager Pritchard Associates, AZIMUTH Architecture and civil engineer Pacheco Koch.
"The office/industrial market has increased about 10 percent, quarter over quarter,” Riggins told GlobeSt.com. “We are breaking ground on numerous, large scale projects in many of the outlying suburbs in the North Texas region and very excited about the prospects for filling our pipeline.
“Owners and developers today are seeking strong project teams that can move quickly and cost-effectively to build these new industrial facilities. With the growth in the North Texas region, we anticipate continued construction activity over the next several years in this market niche.”
