WASHINGTON, DC—Washington Property Company has signed 93,109-square feet of leases in recent months with the majority taking place in its core market of Maryland. All told, some 54,660-square feet of deals were inked in the state's close in suburbs, and another 38,449 square feet of deals were signed in the Virginia suburbs.

Many of the deals were small sized, flying under the radar of most in the community. But in the aggregate they added up to a nice uptick in occupancy for certain buildings. WPC's Patriot Business Park, located at 7852 & 7850 Walker Dr. in Greenbelt, for example, added 45,176 square feet in leases. Chasen Boscolo renewed and expanded into 19,407 square feet with Comcast leased 21,849 square feet. Commonwealth Digital rounded up the building's occupancy with its 3,920 square feet.

In Virginia, the building that made the most gains was Westwood Office Building located at 8618 Westwood Center Dr. in Vienna. It added on 25,254 square feet in deals, led by Homefix Corp., which leased 11,797-square feet.
