DALLAS--Rosemont Realty LLC has promoted two members of its Texas regional team.

Jason Kuester is now senior vice president of acquisitions and asset management and Clay Young has been named vice president of operations for the Texas region, which also includes the company's assets in Texas and Oklahoma. Both are based in Dallas.

“Both Jason and Clay have proven that their experience is extremely valuable to Rosemont, both in supporting Rosemont's growth strategy and providing leadership within the team,” says Helen Rivero, the company's regional principal. “As we continue to grow our portfolio, they will both play an integral part in Rosemont's ongoing success.”

Kuester is now responsible for sourcing and underwriting acquisitions in all states west of the Mississippi. He also has asset management responsibilities in San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi. He was previously with Crescent Real Estate for seven years, holding positions in strategic planning, asset management and investments, before joining Rosemont in 2013.

Young's new role combines his expertise in engineering and construction with his background in general building operations. He serves as an operations leader for new acquisitions related to underwriting of building systems in the Texas region. 

During his tenure at Rosemont, Young has managed a program designed to achieve an Energy Star rating for all of Rosemont's Texas and Oklahoma assets. He also led the establishment of key training programs for on-site engineering teams and developed operational best practices for efficiency and consistency. As a key member of the due diligence team, he assisted with Rosemont's acquisition of Kirkwood Tower in Houston at the end of 2014. Young was previously chief operating engineer with Cassidy Turley and served in a variety of property management engineering positions over the past 15 years with Crescent Real Estate, where he received several prestigious industry awards for building performance and sustainability.
