DALLAS—Stitch Fix, a San Francisco-based online personal styling company, will open its third distribution center in Dallas this June.
Located on Cockrell Hill Road, the 316,000-square-foot building will help the company “better serve clients in Texas and the southern United States.”
“Stitch Fix has a strong presence in Texas and the decision to locate our third distribution center in Dallas was an easy one,” said Stitch Fix chief operating officer Mike Smith. “I have a long-standing history with Walmart.com of launching new retail ideas in the metroplex, and feel that the area is a perfect place for Stitch Fix to grow deeper roots.”
JLL helped the company make the move to North Texas.
"The opening of this facility was a great move for Stitch Fix and the JLL team was excited to represent such a unique, fast-growing company with its search for a Dallas-based distribution hub,” JLL's executive vice president Kurt Griffin told GlobeSt.com.
Griffin, managing director Hugh Scott and senior vice president Nathan Orbin represented Stitch Fix.
Stitch Fix, which has an office in Austin, employs over 200 stylists in the Dallas region. In addition, the company plans to hire 400-500 employees for the new facility, with plans to continue to grow the team further in 2016. Stitch Fix operates two other distribution centers in South San Francisco and Indianapolis.
