WASHINGTON, DC—Grosvenor Americas will unveil the details of its 450,000-square foot mixed-use project in the city's ballpark district. Specifically it will reveal the name of the project, which up until now has been referred to as "Ballpark Square."
The hotel/residential/retail project is to be located -- not surprisingly, given its moniker -- just north of Nationals Park on the west side of 1st Street. It has been long in pending, with the developers working to secure building permits for the area, tenants and even until recently an equity partner.
McCaffery Interests is providing project and property management for the 300,000 square foot residential portion of the development. Bethesda-based Clark Enterprises is an equity partner in the residential and retail component.
The project will include two-story retail building, a residential building and a hotel. The event will take place at 99 M Street SE, at 2 pm ET.
