CONROE, Tex--The Greater Conroe Economic Development Council has partnered with Avison Young to promote Deison Technology Park and the residential, retail and amenity growth that is happening around the technology park in Greater Conroe.
"Conroe is the next big thing," Avison Young's Mike Kennedy told GlobeSt.com. "Currently, it is like Frisco [Texas] was 10 years ago, and [its] proximity to Houston and The Woodlands will drive growth."
“Avison Young is thrilled to partner with the Greater Conroe Economic Development Council and Deison Technology Park, which we see as the next big thing,” says Josh LaRocca, principal at Avison Young's Houston office. “Deison Technology Park and surrounding new development is a logical hot spot for corporate tenant growth. With our deep experience in the Conroe area, along with the strong national relationships our company has formed, we look forward to showcasing the development ready opportunity in Conroe.”
Fred Welch represented the Greater Conroe Economic Development Council, while LaRocca and Kennedy of Avison's Dallas office negotiated the agreement for Avison Young. The agreement is unique, according to the organization, because it is a Texas-wide approach incorporating strengths and relationships of the Houston and Dallas offices to reach national and international companies.
“The city has high standards and expectations for this development, and part of our mission is to foster a class A environment,” says LaRocca.
Deison Technology Park is a 248-acre business park, adjacent to Lone Star Executive Airport. The technology park offers integrated technological resources, custom build-out, and low-cost energy and utilities.
